Fiber optical splice closures are used to distribute,splice,and store the outdoor optical cables which enter and exit from the ends of the closure,providethe required space essential for fiber optic fusion splicing for buried oraerial. In addition, there are two main types of the Splice Closure: vertical and horizontal; these closures are commonly used for outdoor applications. The closuresare all hermetically sealed, enabling use within aerial and underground applications. Furthermore, a significant amount of the closures come with the hardware needed to expedite the installation process.
